Gosh, this one hurt to read. I appreciate stories that make me feel, even if it is painful 💚 I thought you handled it with a whole lot of grace and love.
So, you were the (un)lucky writer who got my snippet (I suppose I got yours?) about the ghost baby. I am sorry for dumping such a heavy event on you. Thank you for the courage to tackle it. 🩶
I loved this one. Read the opening paragraphs several times till I guessed who was narrating but I still clung to the possibility of a good outcome. The world of this family seen from this perspective was so poignant and precious. What a perfect choice of POV.
This was beautifully done. It was tough to read as the story, and where it was headed, became clear, but you managed to describe so much love from within and all around, and there was nothing sad about the love itself -- just pure and peaceful love.
That was intense and beautiful. The observations were told masterfully. Rather than falling into dialogue, we were inside with the narrator. It was quite the experience

Also this line was gorgeous: "...until one day, maybe, who can say, I’ll coalesce with a body like droplets on a window."
Thanks, Stephanie 🙏🏼
I’m so moved. Having lost a baby — there sentences that just kind of broke me.
I’ll coalesce with a body like droplets on a window.… the strings
The whole life stories in sentence fragments
The feeling of summer
Thank you. You brought me some awareness of my pain I didn’t realize I was still carrying
Thanks, my friend— sending y’all love
